Why the app exists
Preparing for a German exam usually means assembling your own course out of parts: a textbook for grammar, a flashcard app for vocabulary, a PDF of a sample paper someone shared, and - if you are lucky and can afford it - a tutor who will mark one letter a week. The parts do not talk to each other, and none of them tells you the one thing you need to know: would this pass?
PassDeutsch was built around that question. You choose the exam you actually booked - Goethe-Zertifikat, telc Deutsch or the DTZ - and the app gives you complete model tests in that format, timed the way the real paper is timed, with instant scoring for reading and listening and AI evaluation for writing and speaking. Then it shows you, module by module, where the certificate is currently being lost.
Who we are
PassDeutsch is published by ShawonPro LLC ( ShawonPro), a small educational software company that builds language and learning apps. We are independent: not a school, not an exam board, and not affiliated with any examination body.
Where we are going
The roadmap is driven by what learners actually get stuck on: more model tests at every level, deeper speaking practice, better explanations behind each marked answer, and support for further exam formats. If something in the app is wrong, unclear or missing, tell us - contact@shawonpro.com reaches the people who build it.
