Terms of use

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing or using PassDeutsch, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or the site.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use PassDeutsch on devices you own or control, for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, reverse engineer or extract the practice content, nor use it to build a competing product or to train machine-learning models.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly at contact@shawonpro.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

• PassDeutsch is free to download. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription available in monthly, 3-month, 6-month and yearly terms.
• Prices vary by country and currency. Any price shown on this website is the euro price from the App Store listing and is indicative only; the amount charged is the one your store displays before you confirm.
• Payment is taken by Apple or Google, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancel in your store account: on iOS, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions. You keep Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by the store that took the payment, under its policy. If the app is not working as described, contact us first.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful, abusive or infringing content, including in writing or speaking submissions.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not share your account with others or use automated means to extract content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the text, images and recordings you submit. You grant us the limited right to process them in order to provide evaluation and feedback, to store your progress and to support your account, as described in the privacy policy.

7. Educational disclaimer

PassDeutsch is a study tool. Practice material is original content written to published exam specifications and is not an official exam paper. Scores and AI feedback are indicative and do not predict or guarantee your result in an official examination. We do not guarantee that you will pass any exam.

8. Independence and trademarks

PassDeutsch is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Goethe-Institut, telc gGmbH, the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF), or any other examination body. Goethe-Zertifikat, telc Deutsch and DTZ are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe the exam formats the app prepares you for. Exam formats and requirements can change; always confirm the current specification with your test centre.

9. Availability and changes

We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend the service for maintenance. Content is added and corrected over time. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. ShawonPro LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or opportunity, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

11. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time - see deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend access where these terms are breached or where required by law.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection rules, those rules continue to apply to you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version; the date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
