German exam centres in Offenburg

Offenburg runs the DTZ monthly at €150, which is cheap by national standards, and adds telc A2/B1, B2, C1, TestDaF and the citizenship test. The catch is eligibility: since 2023 the DTZ here is only open to people with an integration course entitlement.

What is different about Offenburg

The DTZ is entitlement-only

Since 1 January 2023 you need an integration course authorisation to register. Self-payers are steered to telc Deutsch A2/B1 instead, which certifies the same levels.

€150 is cheap for a DTZ

Compare €160 in Leverkusen, €180 in Witten, €190 in Marburg and €200 in Fulda. Offenburg is at the bottom of the national range.

Withdrawing has a sliding price

€10 before the deadline, €50 afterwards with a doctor note, and the whole fee without one. Cancelling early is worth doing properly.

Book the appointment, then register

You reserve a slot online and then attend in person to register. Two steps, three to four weeks before the exam.

Have the date? Now get the score.

Booking is the easy half. Sit a full model test in the format you booked - Goethe, telc or DTZ - and let the analytics tell you which module needs the weeks between now and your date.
