What is different about Augsburg

A month’s notice for the DTZ

The Berufsbildungszentrum closes DTZ registration a full month before the exam, with late registration up to two weeks ahead for an extra fee. That is the tightest deadline of any city covered here - most centres want two to three weeks.

Self-payers need course hours first

For the DTZ, the BBZ requires self-payers to have attended at least 100 course units in an integration course. If you are outside the course system entirely, Mannheim is the nearest centre that considers exceptions.

Paper registration at inlingua

inlingua asks you to print the registration form and send it back completed. Allow postal time on top of the exam deadline.

München is 40 minutes away

If the Augsburg calendar does not fit, Munich has four verified centres including the Goethe-Institut, with DeutschAkademie examining several times a month.
