Goethe only for groups
Goethe B2 and C1 run at the Bildungsverein only on request from groups of at least ten. As an individual needing a Goethe certificate, plan on travelling - Göttingen and Hamburg are the nearest institutes.
Pay for only the part you need
Bergmann Institut sells the written and oral parts separately - €190 written only or €170 oral only against €220 for both at B1/B2. If you are repeating just one module, that is a rare and useful option.
Six centres, very different rhythms
FOKUS examines several times a week, the Sprachakademie monthly on Saturdays, Bergmann about ten times a year, and the vhs less often. Match the rhythm to your deadline before comparing fees.
Citizenship test monthly, €25
