German exam centres in Argentina

Argentina examines German in two cities, Buenos Aires and Córdoba, each publishing its own exam information rather than a single national calendar. The Goethe-Institut covers the full range from A1 to C2. Study and working-holiday routes to Germany drive most of the demand, and Argentina has one of the largest German-descended populations in Latin America.

Exam centres in Argentina

Each centre was checked on the exam board's own website. Dates and fees change, so confirm directly with the centre before you pay or travel.

German exams in Buenos Aires1 centre

Avenida Corrientes 343, C1043AAD Buenos Aires

Goethe
Exams
Goethe-Zertifikat across the full A1 to C2 range

Goethe-Institut Argentina does not name TestDaF on its exam pages. If a German university has asked for it, check the TestDaF portal for an Argentinian venue rather than assuming the institute runs it.

German exams in Córdoba1 centre

Goethe
Exams
Goethe-Zertifikat across the full A1 to C2 range

Publishes its own exam information separately from Buenos Aires, so check the Córdoba page rather than the national one. Its contact page gives a WhatsApp number and email but no street address - confirm the venue when you register.

We do not publish individual sitting dates: they change too often to be safe. Follow the centre link for the current calendar.

What is different about Argentina

Two cities, two exam pages

Buenos Aires and Córdoba each publish their own exam information. A level that is full in one is often open in the other, and the certificate is identical wherever you sit it - so check both before accepting a later date.

Córdoba does not publish an address

Its contact page offers a WhatsApp number and an email but no street address. Get the venue in writing when you register rather than turning up at a guessed location.

TestDaF is not advertised here

Unlike most Goethe country sites, the Argentinian exam pages do not name TestDaF. If your university admission requires it, check the TestDaF portal for a venue and confirm before you plan around it.

Confirm what your programme wants

Universities, employers and visa sections do not all accept the same certificate. Get the requirement in writing before booking, especially if someone has recommended a board other than Goethe.

Booked a date? Now get the score.

Sitting the exam abroad usually means one shot and a long wait for the next date. Practise in the real format first - Goethe, telc or DTZ - and let the analytics show which module still needs the weeks you have left.

Is there a telc or ÖSD exam centre in Argentina?

We checked telc’s own centre register and it lists none, and ÖSD publishes no register we can read. Treat that as "none found" rather than "none exists", and ask any school claiming to examine either board for its centre number.

Official directories

The exam boards maintain their own centre finders. They are the authoritative list.
