Georgia has become one of the larger sources of nursing and vocational candidates for Germany and Austria, and the Goethe-Institut in Tbilisi is the exam centre behind it. It covers the full Goethe-Zertifikat ladder from A1 to C2, TestDaF for university admission and the Goethe-Test PRO for the workplace.

Before you book
Vocational routes to Germany and Austria usually ask for B1, and nursing recognition for B2. Those two levels take most of the seats in Tbilisi, so register when the window opens rather than when your course ends.
The institute lists youth versions of the exams as far as B2, not only at A1 and A2. If you are preparing a school-age candidate, check which version their file actually needs before booking the adult one.
Tbilisi is the only verified exam location in Georgia. From Batumi or Kutaisi that means travel, so build it into the exam-day plan rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Austrian employers often name ÖSD and German ones the Goethe-Zertifikat. Only Goethe is verified here, so if your file specifically needs ÖSD, check its centre finder before assuming Tbilisi covers you.
Sitting the exam abroad usually means one shot and a long wait for the next date. Practise in the real format first - Goethe, telc or DTZ - and let the analytics show which module still needs the weeks you have left.
