Myanmar runs its German exams through the Goethe-Institut in Yangon, at the corner of Kabar Aye Pagoda Road and Nat Mauk Street in Bahan Township. What is different about Myanmar
One centre for the country
Yangon is the only verified exam location in Myanmar. From Mandalay or Naypyidaw that means travel and probably a night, which belongs in the exam budget from the start.
B1 and B2 are the recruitment levels
Vocational placements in Germany usually ask for B1 and nursing recognition for B2. Both run in Yangon, so the constraint is the calendar rather than the level - register as soon as a window opens.
Confirm the certificate your agency named
Recruitment agencies do not always quote the requirement correctly. Ask the employer or the German recognition authority directly and keep the answer in writing before you pay for a sitting.
TestDaF is booked centrally
The institute lists TestDaF, but registration runs through testdaf.de rather than the institute counter, on six fixed dates a year with places allocated in the order they arrive.

Which level do I need for nursing or training in Germany?
Usually B1 to start and B2 for nursing recognition. Both run in Yangon. Confirm with the employer and the recognition authority for the German state concerned rather than relying on an agency’s summary.
Can I sit a German exam in Mandalay?
Not at any location we could verify. Yangon is the only confirmed centre. We publish a city once its centre is confirmed rather than listing one with nothing behind it.
Is there a telc or ÖSD exam centre in Myanmar?
We checked telc’s own centre register and it lists none, and ÖSD publishes no register we can read. Treat that as "none found" rather than "none exists", and ask any school claiming to examine either board for its centre number.
