German exam centres in Jordan

Jordan runs its German exams through the Goethe-Institut in Jabal Amman, covering the full Goethe-Zertifikat ladder from A1 to C2, TestDaF for university admission and the Goethe-Test PRO including its nursing version. Healthcare recruitment and university study drive most of the demand, and the nursing exam matters more here than the level number alone suggests.

What is different about Jordan

The nursing exam is a separate thing

The Goethe-Test PRO has a version written for nursing professions, and German recognition authorities sometimes name it rather than accepting a general B2. If you are on a healthcare pathway, confirm which certificate your file needs before booking a standard exam.

One centre for the country

Amman is the only verified exam location in Jordan. From Irbid or Aqaba that means travel, so build it into the exam-day plan rather than treating it as an afterthought.

Study files usually mean TestDaF or C1

German universities teaching in German normally ask for TestDaF or Goethe-Zertifikat C1. Both run in Amman, but they are different exams - read the admission letter rather than assuming they are interchangeable.

TestDaF is booked centrally

The institute lists TestDaF, but registration runs through testdaf.de rather than the institute counter, on six fixed dates a year with places allocated in the order they arrive.

Sitting the exam abroad usually means one shot and a long wait for the next date. Practise in the real format first - Goethe, telc or DTZ - and let the analytics show which module still needs the weeks you have left.
