Bremen has both a Goethe-Institut and a Volkshochschule licensed by telc and the Goethe-Institut, so the full range of certificates is available in the city. The VHS is unusually clear about the two things candidates ask afterwards: when results arrive, and what withdrawing costs.

Each entry was checked on the centre's own website. Dates and fees change, so confirm directly with the centre before you pay.

Booking in this city
Goethe results at the VHS come by post two to three weeks after the exam; telc results arrive digitally about six weeks later; DTZ results are collected in person. If a deadline depends on the certificate, count backwards from those windows, not from the exam date.
Cancel more than four weeks before the exam and you pay a €30 processing fee. Inside four weeks, cancellation is not possible and the full fee is due. Illness on the day is treated as a €30 case if you produce a medical certificate by the following Monday morning.
The Aristoteles Institut examines C1 Hochschule three to five times a month and B1/B2 two to three times - unusually frequent. If you are chasing a university deadline, that is the calendar to check first.
With a Goethe-Institut and a licensed VHS, Bremen candidates rarely need to travel for the certificate their office actually accepts. Choose by which certificate is accepted, then by which centre has a date in time.
The DTZ result is picked up at the VHS rather than posted. Plan a trip for it, and ask at registration when results are normally ready.
