What is different about Lithuania

There are exam centres beyond Vilnius

The institute maintains a list of Lithuanian exam centres but keeps it off the main exam page. From Kaunas or Klaipėda, ask for it before assuming you must travel to the capital.

On the main avenue

Gedimino prospektas is the central boulevard, so the institute is easy to reach - but allow for parking and traffic if you are driving in on exam morning.

Riga is a few hours away

If the Vilnius calendar does not suit, Riga examines the same range and Tallinn beyond it. The certificate is identical wherever you sit it, so compare all three before waiting.

TestDaF is booked centrally

The institute lists TestDaF for university admission, but registration runs through testdaf.de on six fixed dates a year with places allocated in the order they arrive.

Booked a date? Now get the score.

Sitting the exam abroad usually means one shot and a long wait for the next date. Practise in the real format first - Goethe, telc or DTZ - and let the analytics show which module still needs the weeks you have left.

Where can I take TestDaF in Lithuania?

Through the Goethe-Institut in Vilnius, but booking runs centrally on testdaf.de rather than the institute. It covers B2 to C1 for university admission on six fixed dates a year.

Is there a telc or ÖSD exam centre in Lithuania?

We checked telc’s own centre register and it lists none, and ÖSD publishes no register we can read. Treat that as "none found" rather than "none exists", and ask any school claiming to examine either board for its centre number.

Official directories

The exam boards maintain their own centre finders. They are the authoritative list.
