German exam centres in Ukraine

The Goethe-Institut in Kyiv lists the full Goethe-Zertifikat range from A1 to C2, plus TestDaF and the Goethe-Test PRO, and publishes separate opening hours for courses, exams and its library. Confirm any date directly with the institute before you travel: the security situation can change at short notice, and we cannot verify from its website how a given sitting is affected.

What is different about Ukraine

Confirm the sitting before you travel

The institute lists exams and publishes exam opening hours, but says nothing on its site about how air raid alerts or the wider security situation affect a given date. Get your date and venue confirmed in writing, and ask what happens if a sitting is interrupted.

One centre, and the country is large

Kyiv is the only verified exam location. Travel within Ukraine takes longer than the map suggests, so plan generously and do not book non-refundable travel around an unconfirmed date.

Options outside the country

If travelling to Kyiv is not realistic, the Goethe-Instituts in Warsaw and Kraków examine the same range, and the Österreich Institut runs ÖSD in Warsaw, Kraków and Wrocław. Bratislava and Budapest are also within reach. The certificate is identical wherever you sit it.

B1 and B2 carry the demand

Work and vocational routes to Germany and Austria usually ask for B1, and nursing recognition for B2. Both are listed here, but check whether your file accepts a certificate obtained abroad if you end up sitting outside Ukraine.

Is there a telc or ÖSD exam centre in Ukraine?

We checked telc’s own centre register and it lists none, and ÖSD publishes no register we can read. Treat that as "none found" rather than "none exists". For ÖSD specifically, the Österreich Institut examines in nearby Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.
