Bulgaria sends a steady flow of nurses, carers and skilled trades to Germany and Austria, and the exam network reflects that. The Goethe-Institut in central Sofia examines A1 to C2 plus TestDaF, and telc adds four independent centres in Sofia and one in Varna - the only verified option on the Black Sea coast.

Before you book
Five of the six verified centres are in Sofia. If you are in Varna, EUTOPIA is the only local route - and if its calendar is full, the alternative is a trip across the country rather than a wait.
Employment and vocational routes to Germany and Austria usually ask for B1, and nursing recognition for B2. Both are examined in Sofia by more than one board, so a full Goethe calendar is not the end of the matter.
Its main address is ul. Budapesta 1, but courses also run at FNTS on ul. G.S. Rakovski. Read the venue off your exam confirmation rather than the contact page.
ÖSD publishes no register we can read, so we cannot confirm an Austrian-diploma centre in Bulgaria either way. If your file specifically needs ÖSD, use its official centre finder and confirm before booking travel.
