What is different about Tunisia
B1 and B2 carry the demand
Ausbildung contracts usually ask for B1 and nursing recognition for B2, and those two levels take most of the seats in Tunis. Register the moment the window opens rather than when you feel ready.
One centre for the country
Tunis is the only verified exam location in Tunisia. From Sfax or Sousse that is a few hours each way, so treat travel as part of the exam-day plan.
TestDaF is booked centrally
The institute offers TestDaF, but registration runs through testdaf.de rather than the institute, on six fixed dates a year with places allocated in registration order.
French is not a shortcut
Coming from a French-language education helps with study habits, not with German grammar - Tunisian candidates routinely underestimate the jump from A2 to B1. Sit a full timed model test before you commit to a date.

Which level do I need for an Ausbildung in Germany?

Is there a telc or ÖSD exam centre in Tunisia?
We checked telc’s own centre register and it lists no examination centre in Tunisia, and we could not verify one independently. Treat that as “none found” rather than “none exists”: the register lags reality in places - Vietnam has two licensed telc centres that do not appear in it - and ÖSD publishes no register we can read.
